For the medical industry, SR Machining has produced a wide variety of CNC engineered plastic machined components for major medical analytical/diagnostic and medical testing manufacturers and sub-contractors, including internal manifolds for analytical DNA evaluation (in the DNA testing sector), mass spectrography components, manifolds that house fiber optics (for use in surgical procedures), and various other cartridges and parts with medical uses and applications. Medical components can be produced in a wide range of engineered plastics, including Delrin, Teflon, UHMW and Acetron (as well as others), for use in medical apparatus and equipment used for analysis in harsh environments. Small, precision CNC machined plastics manufactured by SR Machining can be produced in prototype quantities up to large production runs.
